Paneer Tawa Pulao

INGREDIENTS

Dry red chili - 6

Warm water - 50 milliliters

Washed rice -250 grams

Water - 500 milliliters

Oil - 1 tablespoon

Paneer - 150 grams

Water - 1 1/2 litre

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Oil - 1 teaspoon

Oil - 1 tablespoon

Desi ghee - 2 tablespoons

Bay leaf - 1

Cardamom - 2 pods

Cumin - 1 teaspoon

Cinnamon stick - 1

Onion - 100 grams

Minced Ginger - 1 tablespoon

Minced Garlic - 1 tablespoon

Green chili - 1 teaspoon

Potato  - 100 grams

Carrot - 50 grams

Green peas - 50 grams

Bell pepper - 50 grams

Tomato - 50 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon

Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Pav bhaji masala -1 tablespoon

Coriander powder -1 teaspoon

Blended red chili paste - 1 tablespoon

Water - 50 milliliters

Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a bowl, add 6 red chilies, 50 milliliters water.
  2. Soak for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Now transfer the soaked red chilies in a blender and blend to a smooth paste.
  4. In a bowl, add 250 grams rice and 500 milliliters water.
  5. Soak for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add 150 grams paneer and sauté for 4-5 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from heat.
  8. In a wok, add 1 1/2 litre water, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon oil and soaked rice.
  9. Cook it for 12-15 minutes on medium heat.
  10. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil, 2 tablespoons desi ghee, 1 bay leaf, 2 pods cardamom, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 cinnamon stick and mix well.
  11. Now add 100 grams onions and cook until it turns translucent.
  12. Then ,add 1 tablespoon minced ginger , 1 tablespoon  minced garlic, stir once then add 1 teaspoon green chili, and mix well.
  13. Now, add 100 grams potatoes, 50 grams carrot, 50 grams green peas, 50 grams bell pepper and 50 grams tomatoes. Mix well.
  14. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 tablespoon pav bhaji masala, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 tablespoon blended red chili paste and give it a stir.
  15. Add 50 milliliters water and mix well.
  16. Now, add sautéed paneer, mix once and add boiled rice.
  17. Mix well and add 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
  18. Remove the pan from heat.
  19. Serve hot.
