PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 70 grams split bengal gram, 500 millilitres water and soak for 4 - 5 hours.
2. In a another bowl, add 100 gram rice, 300 milliliters water and soak for 30 minutes.
3. Take a pressure cooker, add 2 tablespoons ghee, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and stir well.
4. Then, add the soaked split bengal gram and mix it well.
5. Now, add the soaked rice and mix it again.
6. Add 400 milliliters water, 3/4 teaspoons alt and mix it well.
7. Cover it with lid and cook until you hear 2 - 3 whistles.
8. Open the lid and remove it from heat.
9. Serve.
