Blueberry Falooda

INGREDIENTS

Chia seeds - 2 tablespoons

Water - 100 milliliters

Water 350 milliliters

Vermicelli - 70 grams

Blueberries - 80 grams

Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon

Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon

Almond - to taste

Cashews - to taste

Chilled milk - 200 milliliters

Vanilla ice-cream  - 1 scoop

Almond - for garnish

 

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons chia seeds, and 100 milliliters water.
  2. Soak for 30 minutes.
  3. Add 350 milliliters water in a pan and bring it to boil.
  4. Now add 70 grams vermicelli and boil for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the pan from heat.
  6. In another pan, add 80 grams blueberries, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon brown sugar and mix.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes on low heat.
  8. Remove the pan from heat.
  9. Keep aside and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  10. Now, take a glass , add 2 tablespoons soaked chia seeds, 2 tablespoons prepared blueberry compote, almonds, cashews, boiled vermicelli and 200 milliliters chilled milk.
  11. Top it with 1 scoop of vanilla ice creme.
  12. Garnish with almonds.
