Brown Rice For Weight Loss

INGREDIENTS

Brown rice - 100 grams

Water - 400 milliliters

Olive oil - 1 teaspoon

Garlic - 1 teaspoon

Ginger - 1 tablespoon

Onion - 60 grams

Green chili - 1 tablespoon

Pink salt - 1 teaspoon

Carrot - 95 grams

Cauliflower - 110 grams

Spinach - 30 grams

Water - 50 milliliters

Spring onions- for garnishing

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams brown rice and 400 milliliters water.

2. Soak them for 10 minutes.

3. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pressure cooker, add 1 teaspoon garlic and mix it well.

4. Now, add 1 tablespoon ginger and mix again.

5. Add 60 grams onion and stir continuously until turns golden-brown in colour.

6. Add 1 tablespoon green chili and give it a nice stir.

7. Add 1 teaspoon pink salt and mix well.

8. Now, add 95 grams carrot, 110 grams cauliflower and 30 grams spinach.

9. Sauté for 2-3 minutes on moderate heat.

10. Then, add soaked brown rice, 350 milliliters water and give it a nice stir.

11. Cover it with lid and pressure cook for 1 whistle.

12. Remove the lid and pressure cooker from heat.

13. Add the bron rice in a serving dish.

14. Garnish with spring onions.

15. Serve hot.
